Come Meet Your Teacher

🚗🚌 Parents & Guardians, We Need Your Help! 📋
Please take a moment to complete the Transportation Form for your student(s). This year, every student is required to have a transportation form on file.
This information helps us know how your child will be arriving at school and how they will be getting home each day, so we can keep everyone safe and make arrival and dismissal run as smoothly as possible.
Thank you for taking a few minutes to help us get ready for an amazing school year! We can't wait to welcome our Commodores back and kick off another year the Cherry Way! 💚💜🍒
Please complete the form here: ⬇️

Hello,
This is for parents with students going into 1st grade - 5th grade. If you need help getting your student registered online, we are hosting an OLR Day to help you. If your child is new to our school, please bring your child's birth certificate, proof of residency, your ID, any legal documents such as court documents, IEPs, etc. If your child is a returning student, you only need to bring your ID. We will be here on Monday, July 20th from 8:30-2:00. We would love to help you get your child enrolled in school.
Thank you,
Mrs. Anderson

Surprise! A Well-Deserved Honor for Ann Bolin!
Mrs. Ann Bolin was surprised today with a school-wide assembly to celebrate her being named a WKU Distinguished Educator in Exceptional Education! Dr. Corinne Murphy, Dean of the WKU College of Education and Behavioral Sciences, presented the award.
From teaching Braille and fostering student independence to leading T. C. Cherry’s morning meetings and the school’s annual cereal drive, Mrs. Bolin is a true advocate and mentor. As her principal Mrs. Sheryl Anderson says, she is a leader for all children.
Congratulations, Mrs. Bolin! We are so proud to have you in BGISD! 💜🍒

She spoke to students about her inspirations for writing; using imagination, research, and also several re-writes throughout the process.
Thanks to the Warren County Public Library for bringing another fabulous author to our schools!

🍒 📸 Pics from the debut performance of the T.C. Cherry Jump Rope Club!
Students have been practicing each week after school to learn new skills. Thanks to Coach Tyler Beyke for leading the way! Onward Cherry!

We hope you were able to stay warm and safe over the past week.
We missed you and can't wait to see you tomorrow!
